The Trust exists;
- To help and advance the education of children and young people in Birmingham, the Black Country, Coventry, Oxfordshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire and Worcestershire. So as to develop their physical, mental and spiritual capacities that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society and so that their conditions of life may be improved;
- To advance the spiritual development of children and young people by provision of support and assistance;
- To provide educational and recreational activities for children and young people living in the area of benefit who have a need by reason of their age, infirmity or disability, poverty or social and economic circumstances with a view to improving their future prospects;
- To provide training and development opportunities for young people and adults so they are able to undertake leadership roles within the charity and within their communities;
It is the role of the Board of Trustees to guide, support and make accountable each element that makes up the Youth Services, Alton, Castle, The New Centre for Youth Ministry, Chaplaincy coordination, and BCYS.
The Board of Trustees is made up of people who have experience in a wide range of settings related to working with young people both locally and nationally.
