Beyond the Wild is back! KYT are delighted to join once more with Catholic outdoorsman Will Hince to offer a spiritual survival course for young men aged 14 - 18. Beyond the Wild will take place on 29th - 31st May 2021 at Alton Castle.
Discover what it means to be a man of God and learn real-life survival skills, including tracking, trapping & preparing food, friction fire-lighting, building a survival shelter, finding & purifying water and navigating by the stars. Be renewed by the living water of prayer. Experience the fire of God’s mercy in Reconciliation. Taste our spiritual food, the Eucharist, with daily Mass. Seek the shelter of the Church, as you learn more about her teachings and as you experience true brotherhood.
The group will be camping out on the grounds of Alton Castle and then trekking over to their day camp in nearby woodland, where the survival training happens! All food is supplied, but participants will need a tent.
The price for Beyond the Wild is £115pp. All food is supplied, but participants will need a tent. Participants can also book their place for Summer Camp and Beyond the Wild as a bundle for £250pp.
