Come and join together with other schools across the Diocese to be “Sent Out” into a year of ministry!
We will gather for Holy Mass at 12.15am at St. Chad's Cathedral where Archbishop Bernard will preside. All Priest and Lay Chaplains, Key Chaplaincy Staff, governers and members of your Student Chaplaincy Team are welcome to join us, so please do share the invite! Please RSVP by emailing beccy.roseman@kenelmyouthtrust.org.uk so that we have an idea of numbers joining us. Light refreshments will be provided after mass so please stay and socialise! |

We cannot wait to walk in the footsteps on Jesus in this incredible place!
Spending time in Galilee, Jerusalem, Bethlehem, sharing daily Mass in these sacred spaces and reading scriptures in the place where they actually happened, this really is the pilgrimage of a lifetime and one not to be missed! The cost of the pilgrimage includes return flights from Heathrow, airport transfers, bed and breakfast dinner and 3 lunches, accommodation, a local English speaking licensed guide and a deluxe air conditioned coach. The cost is £1545 per person. We have an online information session taking place on Sunday 1st October from 6.30-7.30pm. During this session we will explore the suggested itinerary and answer any questions you may have. A Year Long Training Course for Lay Chaplains
A course to empower and equip our Lay Chaplains within the Archdiocese. To provide high quality learning opportunities, ongoing support and bespoke resources to help unleash the potential of those in ministry in our Catholic Schools There are four distinct elements to the Release course - 6 high quality conference days throughout the year - Course reading and Set Texts - Home Study and Assignments - Spiritual Direction and Accompaniment The course reading will help consolidate the content of the 6 conference days and all books will be provided. An assignment will follow each conference day focusing on the good practice of the Lay Chaplain within their community. The Lay Chaplain Coordinator will accompany throughout the course with regular school visits. To take part in the course you must be a Lay Chaplain in a Catholic school and be ready to commit to each element. The Release Course will is £850 per person and covers all training days, course materials and course reading books.
